Position Summary:
The Business Office Representative is responsible for a variety of department clerical duties, support functions, answering phones, and greeting clients. Processes incoming sales and ensures sales slips are accurately entered. Sorts, copies, and distributes reports, documents, and files. They will complete basic data entry, filing tasks and will provide miscellaneous assistance as required. Some weekends and holidays required. Candidate must project the Company's professional image. FT position- includes weekends & holidays. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all assigned clerical and support functions
  • Assists designers and consultants in entering all sales slips
  • Assists in closing functions as batching credit card terminals and preparing deposits
  • As directed by Business Office Supervisor, may collect payments and process credit cards
  • Assists customers as needed
  • Assists with special projects as assigned
  • May provide relief to Receptionist for breaks and meal periods
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with area staff and management
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of basic department structure and information flow
  • 1-2 years of office experience preferred
  • Well organized
  • Good interpersonal and public relation skills
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others
