Marilee McGinn
With over three decades of experience, Marilee McGinn is ready to assist with interior design projects from residential to commercial spaces. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Housing and Interior Design, she spent six months in London, England launching the Directed Individual Study Program for the Interior Design Department and establishing the benchmark for excellence. Marilee is also a professional member of the American Society for Interior Designers (ASID), and the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIQ). A Florida Licensed Interior Designer, she currently serves on the State of Florida Legislative Task Force for Interior Designers. She previously served on the Board of Directors for ASID, Florida North Chapter, where she was a Director of Finance, President Elect and President from 2016 to 2017.
Marilee has received numerous design awards including Aurora Awards and ASID. Her work has been published in “Southern Living”, “Builder/Architect”, “Electric House” as well as Decorating with Southern Living, and Creative Ideas for Decorating.
Marilee’s design experience includes residential and commercial projects across a breadth of design styles. She is most noted for creating classic, comfortable elegance. She has designed several casual Boutique Hotels as well as vacation rental homes and high-tech apartments. Her impressive portfolio also includes historically accurate European manor houses, contemporary private residences, model and show homes, and commercial designs including state of the art car dealerships, ICU waiting areas, resort spas, and medical offices.
In her free time, Marilee enjoys gardening and photography, as well as finding ways to give back to her community. A supporter of Habitat for Humanity, she has participated in several build projects.
